It is also revealed that Tethyan Copper's major potential is its Reko Diq copper and gold deposit in Western Pakistan. Marengo's potential prize is Yandera copper and molybdenum deposit in Papua New Guinea.

The platinum price shot up from $US580 (an ounce) to $US860 causing a currency crush.
