A study of high-level managerial decision processes, with implications for MCDM research

Article Abstract:

Multiple Criteria Decision Making models do not always work for complex, real world decisions. The models are much simpler than what is necessary for high level decisions. Revision of the models could cause them to be used more often for decision making.

Article Abstract:

The Resource Allocating Multiple Objective Negotiation Approach (RAMONA) negotiation support system is used to aid negotiation efforts involving Finnish agricultural income policy. Identifying Pareto-optimal settlements for two-party resource allocation negotiations

Article Abstract:

Two methods for identifying Pareto improvements in two-party resource allocation negotiations are studied. It is assumed that the two parties each have an upper bound. Both methods begin with the identification of the parties' most preferred positions followed by the application of the directional search and discretized preference path approaches. Methods for approximating the contract curve of the Pareto-optimal frontier are also presented.
