Continental Teves CZ (Jicin, Czech Republic), brake equipment manufacturer, will modernize and enlarge its plant during 2002-2006. The investment costs on the project should be CEK 2 bil. The project's investor is the parent company Continental (Germany). About 670 new jobs should be set up after the completion of the project.

Okula (Nyrsko, Czech Republic), spectacle rim and plastic products company, will set up a joint venture with the holding company Axium (France).
