Article Abstract:
Heinz-PMV (Zabreh na Morave, Czech Republic), milk products firm, will stop manufacturing baby milk-powder of the Sunar trade mark at its plant in Zabreh. The manufacturing will be taken over by the firm's affiliated company in Kendal, the UK, immediately. The plant in Zabreh will be sold. The move and the sale of the plant will be realised within the restructuring of the parent concern Heinz (US). The plant's new owner should also buy the trade mark PMV and its hitherto business activities. The plant will produce the milk products of the trade mark PMV, whey powder and milk powder for contracting partners.

Eta: sale by end of year?
Article Abstract:
Eta (Hlinsko v Cechach, Czech Republic), household electrical appliance manufacturer, could be sold to a strategical partner by the end of 2000. Eta, which has to face a decrease in domestic sales, relies on exports. Its exports have been increasing since 1995. In 1995 Eta exported 55.1% of its total production. The firm's domestic sales are decreasing, mainly due to the cheap imports of consumer goods from Asia to the Czech Republic. Eta sold its heating body production plant including 260 employees to Nibe Industrier (Sweden) in 2000.

Sevac will be for sale
Article Abstract:
Sevac (Prague, Czech Republic), blood plasma processor, expects a new owner at end 2000. The decision on the new owner of the 78.86% state stake in the national plasma processor will be made in Dec 2000 during a tender declared by the National Property Fund of the Czech Republic.
