ALLIANCE CASH MANAGER: MANAGED SMOOTHLY TILL NOW

Article Abstract:

Alliance Cash Manager, an open-ended debt scheme from Alliance Mutual Fund, has been launched to give a high level of current income through a portfolio having superior liquidity. It requires a minimum investment of Rs100,000 in the initial offer period. The scheme has been rated AAAf by Crisil and will only expose itself to securities approved under the Crisil Rating Agreement. The scheme will have exposure to the dated securities of the Government of India and the State governments, private sector corporate debt, asset-backed securities and banking sector bonds. (khr)

PRUDENTIAL-ICICI LAUNCHES THREE SCHEMES TO RAISE RS 100 CRORE

Prudential-ICICI Asset Management (PIAM) has launched three different open-ended mutual fund schemes to mobilise Rs100 crore. The schemes include an equity growth scheme, an income scheme and a liquid scheme. The initial offer opens on June 4, 1998 and closes on June 11, 1998. PIAM is a 55:45 joint venture of the Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India (ICICI) and Prudential Corporation, UK. (rk)

SBI MUTUAL FUND TO LAUNCH OPEN-ENDED INCOME SCHEME

Article Abstract:

SBI Mutual Fund (SMF) will be introducing Magnum Income Fund, its first open-ended income scheme. The scheme will be investing only in debt instruments. The investments will be in debt instruments having a minimum corpus of Rs10 crore. The fund plans to have a minimum subscription of Rs2,000 and retain the entire amount of over-subscription. The scheme will be offering the growth option and the dividend option. (ag)
