Article Abstract:

A new Urban Entertainment Center (UEC) is being planned in the Landstrase in Vienna. The Sch 3bn project backed by Bank Austria involves the construction of a 30,000-sq.m complex with retail (market hall, supermarkets), leisure and restaurant facilities as well as 50,000 sq.m of offices and a cinema. Construction start is scheduled for 2001 and completion for 2004.

Now the Sch 3bn project that is to be carried out between 2001 and 2004 involves 30,000 sq.m of retail, leisure and restaurant space and office towers with more than 50,000 sq.m. of floorspace. The complex will include also a cinema.

AUSTRIA: WIENER NEUSTADT TOWN HALL UPGRADE

Article Abstract:

Between Sch 200mn and Sch 250mn is to be spent on the renovation of the town hall of Wiener Neustadt in Austria. The building area is to be doubled to 6,000 sq.m. The project is to be carried out between autumn 2001 and 2004.
