Article Abstract:

The Austrian Volksbank cooperative bank group and its Canadian counterpart are setting up a joint venture investment bank in Vienna. The new company is called BP Invest Consult. OVAG, the central institute of Austrian Volksbanken cooperative banks which already has 51 branches in Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Czech Republic, is to set up full-service banks in Bosnia-Hercegovina and in Romania.
