The concrete and building elements supplier Readymix Kies-Union, Austrian subsidiary of the international RMC group, increased turnover by 11% to Sch 3.5bn in 1999. Profits on ordinary activities, however, fell by 14% to Sch 190mn. The company expects turnover to grow and profit margin to fall further in 2000.
