RTL net tumbles 37%; better ad picture seen: ITV profit also falls on drop in revenue, digital investments

Full-year 2007 net profit for RTL Group S.A. declined 37% to $856 mil, due in part to charges, including a free-to-air goodwill impairment and a cartel fine in Germany. Revenue, however, rose 1.2%.

Adidas net rises on strong demand despite struggles of its Reebok brand

Article Abstract:

Fourth-quarter net profit for German athletic shoe manufacturer Adidas AG rose 63% to $32 mil, while sales increased 7.6%. However, sales for its Reebok brand are struggling in a tougher US market.
