Alcatel's merger with Lucent stirs culture questions
Article Abstract:
A merger of telecommunications operators Compagnie Finaciere Alcatel of France and Lucent Technologies Inc. of the United States will need to bridge the cultural divide. The new company would be based in Paris and would generate approximately $25 billion. Lucent Technologies Inc. Chief Executive Officer Patricia Russo will oversea the merger.
