Article Abstract:

Czech Republic: According to estimates, the volume of the air traffic above the Czech Republic should increase by 5% per year. The Czech Republic together with another seven states will participate in the setting up of the Central European Regional Centre for the Control of Air Traffic. The centre should be commissioned in Vienna, Austria, in 2006. The investments in the setting up of the centre are estimated at 131 mil ECU. It is hard to specify the concrete level of the Czech contribution at the moment.

Dithering with blue noise

Article Abstract:

Digital halftoning, or digital dithering, is a method of displaying simulated continuous-tone pictures on binary picture element displays. Blue noise is a useful element in halftoning, and efficient dithering algorithms have resulted based on perturbed error diffusion. Blue noise dithering is also well suited to represent rectangular grids.
