Fuzzy programming for multiobjective 0-1 programming problems through revised genetic algorithms

Article Abstract:

The applicability of modififed genetic algorithms (GA) for solving multiobjective zero-one programming problems with fuzzy objective functions is considered as a means of taking into account the imprecise nature of a decision maker's judgments. The revised GAs, which do not use the penalty function for characterizing the constraints, were evaluated using the conjunctive function in each fitness value of individuals as the criterion.

An interactive fuzzy satisficing method for multiobjective 0-1 programming problems with fuzzy numbers through genetic algorithms with double strings

Article Abstract:

An improvement on the multi-objective 0-1 linear programming models were effected by the use of a genetic algorithm with double strings. The genetic algorithm is able to derive a solution set for the decision maker by taking advantage of fuzzy logic to quantify the subjective criteria into a Pareto optimal solution set. The Pareto optimality is set by the decision maker by characterizing the alpha level set and the reference membership values.
