An interval version of PROMETHEE for the comparison of building products' design with ill-defined data on environmental quality

Article Abstract:

A framework called PROMETHEE I was created to deal with the introduction of interval criteria in the assessment of building products' environmental quality. PROMETHEE I, which is an extension of the PROMETHEE framework, was proven capable of defuzzyfying resultant continuous fuzzy flow through the use of a conventional and intuitive operator. The defuzzification operator selected by PROMETHEE I can be implemented to crisp numbers and is capable of generating canonical order on real numbers.

A bicriteria model for locating a semi-desirable facility in the plane

Article Abstract:

A bicriteria model was developed to address the problem of locating a partly desirable facility in the plane. Through the use of the model, which reduces the two criteria's weighted sum, an approach designed to identify the efficient frontier of facility locations was obtained. The model's first criterion, the minisum criterion, intends to lessen the weighted sum of Euclidean distances raised to a negative power.
