Analysts expect big decline in profit at Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse Group is forecasted to post a drop of as much as 30% in its net profits for the 2001 second-quarter. The group is expected to post between one billion Swiss francs to 1.29 billion francs (657.8 million euros to 848.5 million euros) in net profits for the period.

Credit Suisse swings to profit

Though new accounting methods have given Credit Suisse Group a net profit in the second quarter over a year-earlier loss, the banking group sees its profits down from the first quarter due to weak revenues at its investment division.
