And the winners are

Article Abstract:

A ruling against Microsoft has been followed by stock price rises for Red Hat and other smaller firms in the industry, and Microsoft is less likely to try to exert pressure on competitors following the ruling. America Online and other key competitors have not seen such high stock price gains, though they should benefit from the ruling. There is concern that the government could increase levels of intervention in the industry, though this is less likely than further action by antitrust agencies.
