Armon's 96m seiner for Iran - Vigo yard wins biggest order

Article Abstract:

Iran has given the contract for building a 96 x 15.2 x 7.15 metre tuna purse seiner to Spain's Armon group based in Vigo. The design and construction of the fishing vessel and the equipment and supplies installed therein are described.

French tuna operator expands into Iran

Cobrecaf has decided to begin fishing in Iranian waters. The company, based in Concarneau, France has decided to only fish as far away as the Chagos Islands due to the limit of fuel each vessel can carry.
