Assessing priority weights from subsets of pairwise comparisons in multiple criteria optimization problems

Article Abstract:

The use of subsets of pairwise comparisons for the evaluation of priority weights in multiple objective decision making is explored. Specifically, it is shown that its application using mathematical programming, eigenvectors of derived reciprocal matrices and other techniques results in different priority weights with varying characteristics. However, they become interrelated once subsets like basic coverings, elementary cycles and complete covering are taken into consideration.

Generalized optimal designs and contingency plans in linear systems

Article Abstract:

Optimal linear design concepts and methods for selecting generalized good designs and contingency plans under conditions of multiple criteria and multiple levels of resource availability have been developed. The strategies, which are suitable to aggregate production planning applications, are based on a multi-criteria and multi-constraint-level simplex method advanced by Y.R. Lee, Y. Shi, and P.L. Yu.

An extended DEA model: appending an additional input to make all DMUs at least weakly efficient

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning the relative efficiency of decision making units are presented. A Data Envelopment Analysis model is discussed in which additional input is added to the original model.
