Article Abstract:

The abandonment of Alzheimer's patients and other ill elderly persons is a growing problem. More families are unable to cope, financially and emotionally, with the care of their sick elders. The issue was highlighted by the abandonment of Alzheimer's patient John Kingery at an Idaho dog track.

Recent elections in Kuwait were a stunning defeat for the political leaders of Kuwait. Political parties are outlawed, but the majority of those elected oppose the current government. Kuwait is slowly moving from a feudalism monarchy to a democratic form of government.
