BAUSCH & LOMB WRITES NEW MARKETING MANTRA

Article Abstract:

Bausch & Lomb, an eyewear company, has decided to focus on a concept called Attitudinally 25 in its marketing strategy for 1999 in India. The concept is based on the notion that different age groups aspire to the lifestyles of 25-year-olds - young, cool and independent. The concept has been developed after months of feedback from its divisions across the globe. The company has decided to stylise all new products of its different brands like Rayban, Sidestreet, Rituals and Killer Loop based on the perception of the new concept. (khr)

BAUSCH AND LOMB NET JUMPS BY Rs1.95 CR

The net profit of Bausch and Lomb, has increased by Rs1.95 crore during the third quarter ended December 25, 1998. Its profit has increased by over 2000 percent to Rs2.04 crore (Rs9.04 lakh during the third quarter of 1997-98. Its turnover has increased to Rs18.76 crore (Rs12.95 crore). Bausch and Lomb is involved in vision and eyewear business. (um)(vr)
