BPCI's shares fall on news it bought 75% of Carime

Banca Popolare Commercio e Industria SpA (BPCI) saw its share value drop amid reports that the bank was going to acquire a majority share of Banca Carime from Banca Intesa SpA. BPCI is believed to have offered to acquire 75% of Carime for 2.3 trillion lire (1.19 billion euros).
