Bank of England cuts key rate

Article Abstract:

The Bank of England has announced that it will lower a key interest rate due to worldwide economic decline. Industry analysts, who have said that the Bank of England's cut in its base interest rate was attempting to head off a round of deflation with its action, called for lower interest rates to cope with the country's weak economy. The base interest rate in Continental Europe is only 3%.
