Bankruptcy in Zlin

Article Abstract:

ZPS (Zlin, Czech Republic), machine-tool manufacturer, has become bankrupt. The petition was presented by three of ZPS's creditors, Raiffeisenbank (Prague, Czech Republic), Moravia banka (Frydek-Mistek, Czech Republic) and Toth (Slovakia). Their total receivables are 150 mil Kc. ZPS's largest creditor is the state bank Konsolidacni banka (Prague, Czech Republic). According to the bank, a foreign partner could enter ZPS within the bankruptcy proceedings.

A brand new product from Zlin

Article Abstract:

ZPS (Zlin, Czech Republic), machine tool manufacturer, has launched a new machine tool under the name Cadet-Mate. The machine has been developed in co-operation with Okuma (Japan) and is intended for the company's US distribution network. ZPS produces 35 pieces of the said machines per year. Co-operation with Okuma in the development of the machine was a big contribution to ZPS.
