Orchids for taxpayers; Indonesia hopes for a surge in revenues

Article Abstract:

Indonesia is undertaking a revenue enhancement program to help finance an increase in government spending for FY 1993. However, most economists feel that the government needs to improve its tax collection efforts, since only a small percentage of Indonesians pay taxes.
