Article Abstract:

Member nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States all use the Russian ruble for their currency, but the ruble's value in each country is radically different because of huge trade imbalances. Russia is trying to stabilize the currency across the Commonwealth, but such efforts are unlikely to succeed.

Article Abstract:

The value of the Russian ruble has risen dramatically since prices were liberalized in Jan. Most economists believe that this is not an indicator of Russian economic improvement however, but just a sign that the central bank's printing presses cannot keep up with the demand for cash.

Very present help in rouble: Indonesia and Russia

Article Abstract:

India wants to pay off its debt to Russia at the new rate of 80 rubles to the dollar. In the Seventies, when the debt was incurred, the rate for rubles equaled a $1.30. Russia refuses to except payment based on the lower rates.
