Benetton's Cassano quits as CEO

Article Abstract:

Silvano Cassa no has resigned as CEO of Italian clothing company Benetton Group S.p.A., citing strategy differences with the controlling family. Mr. Cassano will remain on the b oard of d irectors. With this resignation coming at the same time as that of CFO Pier Francesco Facchini, Benetton shares have fallen, following a 15% increase in third-quarter net profit.

Mixing Diet Coke and Mentos makes a gusher of publicity

Amateur videos of gushers caused by dropping Mentos candy into Diet Coke are all over the Internet. The gushers are up to 20 feet high and are giving Perfetti Van Melle of Italy, makers of Mentos over $10 million in free publicity.
