Japanese car makers vow to stop treating Europe like the U.S

Article Abstract:

Japanese car makers have enjoyed much success in the American market, but have struggled in Europe. To correct their problems and increase their market share, the Japanese are making concerted efforts at adapting to the European market by revamping their advertising, their image, and their distribution channels. Although they do not expect Europeans to embrace their automobiles immediately, the Japanese hope that their efforts will help bring them a step closer.
