Bochemie exports a steel pickling agent to the US

Article Abstract:

Bochemie (Bohumin, Czech Republic), chemical specialities firm, has been awarded a contract to export an agent for hybrid steel pickling to the US. By means of its subsidiary Ekomor (Frydek- Mistek, Czech Republic), Bochemie plans to export agent worth 18 mil Kc to the US in 1999 and at least 36 mil Kc in 2000. Apart from the agent, which is sold under the name Feropur, the contract also includes the complete know-how. The technology was licensed as a Czech patent in 1984. It is used to noble steels of the best-quality that are the hardest to forge. The contract should be a reference to Bochemie's other activities in the US.

Bochemie Group has sells technology to the US

Article Abstract:

Bochemie Group (Bohumin, Czech Republic), chemical firm, has sold Czech technology to a steel firm in the US for 25 mil Kc. The technology for the surface treatment of high-grade steel was bought by the steel firm South Carolina Thalling Metals (US) from the group Carpenter Technology (US). The transaction is connected with the supplies of the chemical agent Ekopur from Bochemie. Ekopur is the basic material for the technology.

Lachema sells its plant in Blansko

Article Abstract:

Lachema (Brno, Czech Republic), chemical and pharmaceutical company, will sell its plant in Blansko, Czech Republic, in Sep 2000. The buyer will be Synthon CR (Czech Republic). The sale is organized by the pharmaceutical company Pliva (Croatia), which is Lachema's majority shareholder. The transaction will be worth about CEK 40 mil.
