Cor Boonstra will not accept a supervisory board position with ABN Amro Holding NV until a insider-trading probe into his activities is completed. Boonstra is scheduled to retire as Philips Electronics NV's chief executive.

Ahold reveals irregularities in accounts, ousts officials

Article Abstract:

Ahold N.V. has acknowledged that it had a series of irregularities in its accounts. The company said that its income in 2001 and 2002 was overstated. Ahold also fired its chief executive and chief financial officers.
