British expatriate service provision in Spain's Costa del Sol

Article Abstract:

An empirical study focuses on the levels of local business development observed in expatriate service providers (ESPs) from the UK who are operating in four of Spain's Costa del Sol resorts. The resorts in Torremolinos, La Carihuela, Benalmadena Costa and Fuengirola represent the majority presence of properties owned by UK expatriates in the Spanish Mediterranean coastline. Results show that most of the ESPs maintain acceptable levels of business development in the area.
