By-the-book promo

Article Abstract:

The Canadian book publishing industry will launch on Apr 23, 1999, a marketing campaign titled 'Make a Date with a Good Book' in time for Canada Book Day. Originally, from 1996-98 the annual Canada Book Day had been celebrated in Apr 25. However, because of the lackluster success of the past campaigns, the promotion was changed to Apr 25 to coincide with World Book Day. Some sponsors of the celebration include Friesens Corp, E.B. Eddy Paper, Canada News Wire, eagle.ca. and Bravo!

Wooing tenants in cyberspace

Article Abstract:

CB Richard Ellis' well-designed website at www.festival hall.com is the key to the easy leasing of Festival Hall's 60,000 square feet of retail price. Jointly developed by Brandnext.com and Marketspace Digital Communications, the Internet site allowed potential tenants virtual tours of the center and provided up-to-date information on tenants who have already signed. It also presented leasing information, plans and media coverage.
