CSOB with a net profit of CEK 4.69 bil

Article Abstract:

CSOB (Prague, Czech Republic), bank, saw a net profit of CEK 4.69 bil in 2000, according to international accounting standards. The sum was CEK 1.86 bil higher compared to 1999. CSOB alone saw revenues of CEK 15.6 bil, costs of CEK 9.766 bil and reserves of CEK 525 mil in 2000. According to consolidated results, the whole group CSOB saw revenues of CEK 18.1 bil and costs of CEK 11.9 bil in 2000. The share of the bank's costs in revenues was 63.7% in 2000. CSOB is aiming to decrease the share to 55% in 2002.

CAC Leasing continues to be the first

Article Abstract:

CAC Leasing (Prague, Czech Republic), leasing company, remains on the top of the Czech leasing market, according to the 2000 results. The company ensured investments of CEK 13.7 bil for clients in 2000, 15.4% more compared to 1999. CEK 11.3 bil of the sum was represented by car leasing, CEK 1.7 bil by machine and equipment leasing and CEK 700 mil by sale leasing. CAC Leasing's balance sum was CEK 19.5 bil and its after-tax profit amounted to CEK 99.9 mil in 2000.

Zivnostenska Banka returns to black numbers

Article Abstract:

Zivnostenska banka (ZB) (Prague, Czech Republic), bank, returned to positive economc results in 2000. According to Czech accounting standards, ZB generated a profit of CEK 231.2 mil in 2000. In 1999 the bank saw a loss of CEK 220.9 mil. Its balance sum increased to CEK 69.9 bil in 2000 compared to CEK 39.5 bil in 1999.
