The organization of distribution of functions within the UK's cabinet system can be expected to change in response to the movement toward European unity. The Treasury, having ceded control of monetary policy to the EC, will need to be reorganized, as will the Foreign Office, the Home Office, and the office of the Lord Chancellor.
