Cadres get a field lesson

Article Abstract:

In order to have effective leaders to work for the Vietnam's industrialized economy and to see that Vietnam enters into the World Trade Organization (WTO) by 2005, the communist party of Vietnam is sending some of its selected bureaucrats like Cau Duc Phat (vice-minister for agriculture and rural development), Vu Huy Hoang (former minister for planning and investment) etc to the interiors of Vietnam's provinces for understanding the local problems. The achievements of these bureaucrats in solving the provincial problems of Vietnam have been described.
