Chery assembly deal makes Chrysler a model in exporting from China

Article Abstract:

US-based DaimlerChrysler AG has contracted with Chery Automobile Co. in China to outsource the assembly of inexpensive, smaller vehicles under the Dodge brand. The cars are expected to be ready to sell to emerging markets in Latin America in 2008, and in Western Europe and the US in 2009.

South Korean president vows to quit if he fails to win vote
