Chile wants regional control deal

Article Abstract:

Chile is planning to push for regional control of international waters off the country's long coastline following South Korea's authorization of a fleet of 80 vessels to fish on the high seas outside ChileEs EEZ. Chile must speed up the work on Galapagos Agreement, as this agreement between countries within the Pacific Rim allows Chile to take control measures beyond the EEZ according to international maritime law.
