China tightens delisting rules

China has simplified regulations for delisting securities for companies that are continually unprofitable. China hopes that the tighter regulations will improve its stock exchanges and spark the infusion of foreign funds.

Konka becomes victim of China's price wars

Article Abstract:

Konka Group Co. posted a $23.1 million (25.4 million euros) loss for the 2001 first-half, compared to net profit of $14.9 million during the same 2000 period. The company was hurt by the price wars taking place in China.

TV-set makers' net drops
