Richard Matthews has explained clearly the major ideas regarding environmental security and is right when he says that environmental security is essential to world harmony. The Clinton administration has included the environment as a significant issue to be considered when it created its security policy. The debate in Washington has gone beyond proving the value of environmental security to fostering interagency cooperation in environmental security efforts.

Radio programs that focus on adult listeners tend to play the same artists. Celine Dion is especially over-represented while artists such as Elvis Costello, Bacharach and the Mavericks are largely ignored. Adult radio programming needs to be reformed.
