Clinton for government-aided reform

Article Abstract:

Clinton plans a government-backed effort to improve US infrastructure and increase investment in the inner cities. His plans to limit welfare payments to two year, require parental participation in the education system, and create a national health insurance system are also discussed.

National Assn of Business Economists members believed Bill Clinton would become the president and that the resulting business climate would be less favorable than it would under Pres Bush. Democratic spending will spur a short-term growth, but will end up doing more damage.
