Colony's small-cap stocks are tricky, but promising

Article Abstract:

Stock values at the Hong Kong stock exchange have declined due to unreliable management and poor liquidity. However, analysts point to small-cap stocks as potential earners because of their undervalued status. They note that investors should look for small companies that have quality management, geographic diversification and vertical integration. Peregrine Brokerage singled out Cafe De Coral Holdings and Fairwood Holdings as some of more attractive small-cap stocks.

Article Abstract:

Foreign investors expecting stock reratings upon their entry to Singapore should not be so optimistic. They should learn from the experiences of Jardine Matheson Holdings and Jardine Strategic Holdings, which shifted primary Asian listing to Singapore in early 1995.
