Japan's Web industry opens job doors: nontraditional employees find opportunities in thriving Internet sector

Article Abstract:

The burgeoning Internet industry in Japan has created an abundance of nontraditional job opportunities even during record highs of unemployment and bankruptcies in the country. Small firms dedicated to software development and Web-page design are flooding Tokyo and Osaka in Japan. Employment growth at software and Internet firms greatly surpasses that in other industries.

Foreign portfolio managers start to notice potential

Article Abstract:

China's company shares are becoming more attractive in the foreign market, with $180 billion held in China's central bank in foreign exchange. The U.S. has 78 mutual funds that have invested around 2% of their assets in the mainland stocks of China. Although Asia is not seeing success with their stocks, China continues to show promises for the future.
