Confusing curves

Article Abstract:

Government bonds have seen drops in their yields as investors move away from other assets seen as riskier. There is concern about drops in long bond yields and possible links with high yields for some short-term bonds and a recession. Yield curves cannot always be interpreted easily. There has also been a widening of the gap between yields for corporate and government bonds. Financial conditions appear to have tightened, especially with drops in equity prices.
