Credit hire operation a success for company doctor

Article Abstract:

Credit hire and credit repair company Helphire Group has seen 70% compound growth per year since it was founded in 1992. It now has a workforce of 600, and its market capitalization is $326 million. The company's main sources of income are credit hire, involving car hire for which the innocent victim of an accident is not obliged to pay, and credit repair, with the company arranging for one of its network of bodyshops to repair a car damaged in an accident. The cost is claimed back from the guilty party's insurers. The company is able to earn a 10% margin on the cost of the repairs undertaken.

Hartley the match-maker sets up Cintex marriage

Andrew Hartley, director of Kleinwort Benson Development Capital, has played a crucial role in the management buy-in of metal detection equipment maker Cintex. Funding for the 15 million pounds sterling buy-in includes 7.2 million pounds sterling from Kleinwort Benson and 8 million pounds sterling provided by NatWest Markets Acquisition Finance.

France is in second place as both a seller and acquirer in a league table of EU cross border acquisitions.The banking sector was responsible for many domestic deals due to restructuring and consolidation.
