LIC HOUSING RECORDS 13% JUMP IN NET

Article Abstract:

LIC Housing Finance Ltd has increased its net profit by 13 percent during April-December 1998 to Rs62.23 crore compared to Rs55.23 crore during April-December 1997. The company's income from operations increased by 17 percent to Rs401.13 crore from Rs342 crore while profit before tax rose by 13.36 percent to Rs81.48 crore from Rs71.88 crore. The company's All-India sanctions registered a growth of 31 percent to Rs807.73 crore against Rs613.87 crore while disbursements grew to Rs707.93 crore. (khr)

DEWAN HOUSING FINANCE POSTS 33% RISE IN NET

Article Abstract:

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd(DHFCL) has registered a 33 percent jump in its net profit to Rs10.38 crore in 1997-98 (Rs7.80 crore in 1996-97). Its total revenue has increased to Rs80.58 crore (Rs73.21 crore). Its gross profit is Rs12.98 crore (Rs11.08 crore). It disbursed loans of Rs92.25 crore (Rs64.42 crore). Its non performing assets was 0.45 percent of its total loan portfolio. It has declared a 14 percent dividend for 1997- 98. (rk)
