Korean chip maker sells unit: Hyundai Electronics disposes of packaging arm

This, according to South Korea's Financial supervisory Commission spokesman Kim Young Jae who stated that Daewoo Group may be left only with its automobile-related businesses after doing away with its other units consisting of shipbuilding, electronics, construction and finance. Therefore, the government has readied itself for the task of stemming the potential fallout for investment trust companies.
