Minister backs ban on DnB deal

DnB Holding ASA's proposed acquisition of Gjensidige NOR ASA has had a temporary ban placed on it. The ban was supported by the competition minister of Norway. The deal is valued at 40.3 billion kroner (5.15 billion euros).
