Delegated monitoring vs. armEs- length contracting

Article Abstract:

The information sharing and active coordination process is studied in the procurement context between the principal and its suppliers through both consolidation and delegation methods. The cost of information sharing drives the optimal organizationEs discrete degrees of consolidation with the converse of excessive delegation when the top firm controls the organizational choice itself.

Where to locate in a circular city?

Article Abstract:

The location choices of firms in a circular city model are studied using the widely used Cournot model. The Subgame Perfect Nash Equilibria (SPNE), where firms choose their locations and then based on their competitor's location, compete in quantities.
