FRANCE: CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

Article Abstract:

A new data processing tool, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has developed in the marketing departments of retail chains. This tool makes it possible to target promotions according to the customer and thereby to increase customer loyalty. The data base is fed by information from the sales outlet terminals and also by retail chains' private cards, which are proliferating. In order for the system to operate successfully, the retail chains call on integrators who chose the software tools, build the data storage, and provide data use operations.
