Sleeping soundly

Article Abstract:

Beds usually last around 10 years before they have have be replaced. A bed should be sufficiently hard to support the spine in a straight, horizontal line but not so hard that it is uncomfortable. A variety of designs are available, including divans, bed steads, futons, waterbeds and adjustable beds. Mattresses can be sprung or made of foam. They must be turned over regularly. Pillows are also important in supporting the head correctly. People should try lying on a bed for about 10 minutes to find out if it is suitable before purchasing it.
