Disk doctor: Korean medic's business is curing computer viruses

Article Abstract:

Korean medical doctor Ahn Cheol Soo is turning his avocation, developing anti-computer-virus software, into a business and hopes to develop software that would offer virtual surgery to train physicians. Because of rampant piracy, software development was not profitable in South Korea until recently. He had been known as the computer doctor for several years, but finally decided to form a company to sell his software in 1995. Microsoft has agreed to bundle his software with its Korean launch of Windows 95.
