The author of the book 'A History of God,' a former Catholic nun, explains that the Christian God is neither male nor female, but a spirit that cannot be defined by gender. A history of Biblical translation is discussed, along with feminism, fundamentalism and other topics.

The International Olympic Committee is using unfair sex tests which screen out women athletes with unusual genetic makeups. Women without two x chromosomes are refused permission to compete. Athletic ability in men and women is often rooted in genetics.

Researchers have a longstanding preference for using male laboratory animals, believing males to be typical of any species. A study of aspirin as a preventative treatment for strokes shows that effectiveness is higher for males than females.
